A convenient, front-loading hopper allows for you to grind a wide variety of coffees, this tall model accommodates large brew funnels. Both hoppers hold up to 6 lbs of regular, decaf, or specialty beans, while hoppers also operate as storage for individual coffee grind weight profiles when not in the grinder. Portions are controlled in 3 batch sizes per hopper. An LCD alphanumeric display shows individual coffee names and diagnostics. BrewWISE® intelligence means the SmartHopper manages the grinding and brewing process from start to finishWith the aid of a microchip installed into the hopper, the Smart Hopper is made aware of what coffee is in the grinder so the grinder adjusts the grind time for each batch in order to deliver the precise volume of coffee. The Grinder also communicates the coffee name to Smart Funnel via BrewWISE®, which in turn adjusts the recipe and brews a faultless cup of coffee. Specific recipe cards can also be made with the BrewWISE recipe writer on your PC.
